Good idea would be to see a counselor, get ouside more and get involved in some kind of a positive activity/group...e.g. community baseball league etc.
Activity and sunlight have been proven cures for depression.

grieving is a natural time to go through

we can only do our best - and you DID!
- you gave your dad a fighting chance!

his body fought hard, too - but in the end, it was too much.

Now, for you, ask your school counselor for help in getting through this - there may be resources they can tap - but you have to ask!

Also - a great way to beat depression - is to walk in the sunshine - so have at it - 30 minutes strong 3-4 days a week

listen to the birds - feel the wind - you are a part of life!

and more importantly - you carry your Dad's name - - - - - -
so carry it proudly - like he would want you to!

I know the hurt is great now- BUT - this too, shall pass!

May God Bless you!

you'll think i'm bullshitting you, but i'm not. whenever i'm bummed out about anything, there are three things I listen to.

John Denver (particularly Rocky Mountain High)
Bob Marley (the album Legend)
the Beatles (the album One)

sing along.

I'm very sorry to hear about that. I hope you get through it.

my best advice to you is to see a doctor about it, just make sure and be clear about not wanting to be put on any medication. being able to talk to someone and have that confidentiality is nice and it doesn't mean you have to be on medication they may also be able to recommend more ways to help. other than that exercise regularly, eat healthy and avoid sugar and caffeine and try to make yourself do more (ex. make yourself get out of bed even if all you want to do it sleep) just don't push yourself to hard and do not blame yourself. you did what you could and that's all you can do. no one is perfect. i hope this helps and good luck. email me if you need or want someone to talk to.

Try a Yahoo search for depression (OR anxiety) + treatment (OR cures OR remedies) and see what you get.
