I am nearsighted. Before when I look at my kitchen lights from the living room they were a little blurry but nothing extremely bad. However, recently like tonight, I noticed I am seeing triple the lights. Like lightbulbs on the ceiling I am seeing triple/quadruple of them. Also the lights look blurry and resemble big blobs. I am worried because last month I could see the lights fine but now it has gotten ten times worse. How can my eyesight deteriorate so rapidly?

Go to your Opthamologist. The symptoms you describe could be anything from drug effects to a cataract to a tumor on your cranial nerve.

You could be tired or drunk. Or a combination of both of these.
