Well my redneck dad has a yellow lab (hunting dog)
My bfs got some old hound dog like the one in Sweet Home Alabama
Both are good hunting dogs, and don't scare easily at the sound of gun shots, which is a must have quality if the dogs gonna be livin' with a 100% redneck

Most Rednecks I know take great care of their dogs.
More white trash people tend to prefer stuff that they breed in their backyards like the designer breeds to make a quick buck with. Bloodhounds aren't good for this because people want small furry types rather than Big Ol' Hounds.

Yeah.. Hound Dog really are redneck dogs.
Beagles are pretty close as well.
Basset Hounds... I always picture one sitting on the porch of some old wooden shack with a guy rocking in his chair polishing his shotgun :P hehe

Every redneck that i know has a pit Bull or a red bone hound. Umm rottweiler? I know start a new redneck trend and get a sharpei. Seriously a pit or a hound or get those two mixed into one!!

hounds are 100% redneck.. or better yet a hound mix.. cause a redneck "aint gonna have one of dem dere fancy pedigreeed dawgs" just make sure you put some duck tape on that collar LOL
