How beneficial is The Job Corp. programs?

My niece is seriously thinking about going to the one on the outskirts of Kansas, MO and i'm just helping her out , by getting more information and people's opinions about it, thanks.

If she needs to get her GED, and would like training for a job at the same time, it can be a good program. If she already has her high school diploma, she would probably be better off taking courses at a junior college. Job corp. does too much training for low paying fields like CNA"s, unless she would be using this as a "first step" to a better paying career.
