CAFTA will help Costa Rica much more than it will the US.

Still, it will help the economies of all countries signatory to it.

Do you know that you pay 50% more for a car because of tarriffs charged on our products? This is true for all of our exports. It'll also bring the price of computers down.

So prices of goods from here will go down. Because prices of goods from there will go down here, it means we'll be buying more of the stuff y'all make as well. That means wages there will go up and you'll have more money to buy more things.

Free trade is a good thing, but every time you change the rules, some will be hurt. Some workers will lose their jobs. The good news is that even more workers will gain jobs. The overall effect is good, but it would be nice if something could be done for the few industries and workers who will be hurt.

I think NAFTA has hurt this country I'm against it if we are included. When we slide into our next depression ( whenever that is) The U.S. will not have any manufacturing jobs to fall back to and that can be the end of this great country.
I really do not know enough about this.

Free/fair trade world wide is a good thing. It eventually helps to spread wealth and promotes interdependence which brings about peace. We all rely on each other so we all have a vested interest in maintaining peace.

It is the future. We will have one world government. The only question is what ideology will prevail.

However we need brakes, we need resistance, we need people to be patriots and protect the interests of their individual countries in such efforts.

Keep speaking up.
