How do you ask a guy about his feelings for you, without pressuring him? I am getting signals from him that he likes me, he has said that he does "like me" (not sure if just as friends or not) and he wouldnt have come out for coffee "if he wasnt interested" But then he just treats me like he did before i told him i like him alot. So im just confused. And i want to ask him how he really feels...is this a good idea or do i give him more time? Its been a week since i said i like u alot. (For more details on what he said in response please see my other questions) Thanks for your comments...they mean alot.

i guess im just confused because he hasnt come right out and said I like u back...but on the other hand he hasnt said take a hike i dont like you that way. how i figure out which it is?

the situation was we were in a hot tub. in coversation he said something about finding the right girl and settleing down. I said what kinda girl is the right one for u? He answered, then he asked me what about a guy who is right for you? I described him, not too obviously. Then I said if someone liked you would you want to know? he said YES i would. Then I said are u sure? he said yes and i said good cause i like you...alot. Then he said wow that is a real big compliment thank you. Then he said it was a surprise. I said good or bad surprise and he said really good surprise. Then we went out for coffee. he said things like i wanna get really comfortable with u and i like u but my life is really full and stressful im not ready for a formal relationship. But we can still do things together like coffee and talk alot. And that it doesnt mean that i dont like u im just not ready.
So yah thats pretty much all he said.

Hmm... yeah I have nothing to say. If he liked you back, he would have said it or at least smiled a lot and hugged you or kissed you...
How did you say you like him a lot and... how was the situation like?
But seriously, if you gotta ASK a person if s/he likes you and how much and stuff... then most likely that person doesn't feel the same way. Sorry, but this I'm really sure and others would agree as well. Just get to know him more and vice versa so that he can know how wonderful you are!! ^_^

Some people, specially men, have a hard time knowing when friendships take a more romantic and intimate turn. If he told you he needs time, then give him a few more weeks and then let him take the nest step. Don't make him feel like he has you eating out of his hand because he might take advantage of that and keep you waiting longer.
Once he decides you'll know, when guys make up their mind they are very obvious about it.

he told you he kinda liked you but it was more of a friend kind of thing...but it could develop into something more.
just go along with it and if its absolutly killing you, then why dont you just ask him?
