I just broke up with my girlfriend yesterday because I'm to young. I'm 4 months younger than her and because i am in march it is the next year. She said she feels bad going out with a guy younger with her. Girls, is age really that important or is she a ***** and not worth the effort?

No. She's just stupid.

I bet there's another reason (i.e. she met another guy), and she just told you that as an idiot excuse because she wouldn't tell you the truth.

Age is only a number when your over 18 and dating someone over 18 and 4 months is not even a real difference. I like a guy thats 5 months younger!

4 months? Are you kidding? That's not even a dent. She should have just said that she didn't want to be with you cause she didn't like you anymore. I have dated guys two years younger than me, my bf is 6 years older than me, my step dad is 7 years younger than my mom and 14 years older than me...if you are an adult, age gaps shouldn't matter. It would be bad if she was 18 and you were 15 or vise versa.

Why? I mean if you have all 10 fingers and toes. Breathing on your own and upwardly mobile with no real issues going on, then there shouldn't be any real problem about dating someone younger. Besides if you are both of legal age there really is no need to spaz out that way. Good thing you broke up with her when you did, she sounds like she is a trip for sure.

When love is real, the heart doesn't care about age or anything else. Unless there is some legality involved age should never be a factor. 4 months? Thats nothing and it sounds like to me she has used this as an excuse to discontinue the realationship. If so, that just shows you how shallow she is not to mention dishonest and you are better off without her. When someone shows you who they really are - believe them.

Personally, I like to go out with guys that are 5 yrs older than me.... Not younger. But that is just me. I know of my neighbor, she is married to someone 5 yr younger than her and I even know a 45 yr old who dated a 25 yr old.

4 months is a joke. That is like me breaking up because my girl is 3 days older than me. That is just an excuse and a very poor one at that. The fact that she would come up with such a lie shows how manipulative she really is. Yes she is whatever ****************s you want to call her.

4 months is a bull line, she just wants someone else. Don't worry about it. Did you get the booty, move on that's what she wanted to do. Stroke it a little better and she would not care.

it depends on how old you are. a few years doesn't seem that different when you are in your 20s or older, but any younger to me, makes a difference. its also a matter of maturity level. older guys usually act more mature, and are therefore more dateable.
