ACTS 10:45-46 NKJ
45 And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also.
46 For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God...
Read that last verse again..How did they know the Gentiles hade received the Holy Ghost? They heard them speak in tongues....so when you receive the Holy Ghost,,,how will people know?...they should hear you speak in tongues...the Bible says so...read it again.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1
Jesus wept. John 11:35. Shortest verse there is. Something about it though just gets me..

Hi ~*Pi*~. I have been reading Romans 8:24-25 a lot lately. God is teaching us about the hope of Salvation, but we can have hope when we pray to God in our every day lives too. In Romans 8:24-25 we read:
"For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance."
God is a spirit and He commands us not to walk in the flesh, but we are to walk in the spirit. In Romans 8:1 God tells us:
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
When we read these verses, we know that hope is not something we can see with our eyes. But when we put our hope in God who is unseen, we can be assured that He will answer our prayers according to His will, and we will have the peace of mind that He promises. God promises in Philippians 4:7:
"and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

"Amen, Amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have eternal life within you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink." John 6:53-55 NAB

don't know where one of them are.....
I am a perfectionist with Christ.
seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and ALL these things will be added to you. SEEK for ALL his rightousness. God is a God who can do all things, He can make you perfect, if you only seek or ask him to. Unless you belive God can not do all things. be ye therefore perfect, even AS your father which is in heaven is perfect. Matt 5:48.

GE 24:2-9, 47:29 "... put your hand under my thigh, and I will make you swear by the Lord ...." (Note: This means "put your hand under my testicles," which is the manner in which oaths were taken at the time; "testament," "testify," and "testicle" have the same root.)
GE 29:16-30 Jacob marries both Leah and her sister Rachel. He has children by both Leah and Rachel's maid Bilhah, but Rachel remains barren. Due apparently to Rachel's generosity to her husband, the Lord eventually allows Rachel to conceive.
GE 34:1-2 Shechem defiles Dinah.
