Something is terribly wrong with me. I think demons are tormenting my soul. Ever since elementary school, I have had many problems such as learning disabilities, ADHD, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, and very severe depression. When I was 13 I was such a wreck that I feared I was going to hell so I was baptized in water. Obviously, I was baptized for the wrong reasons and I feel as though Jesus has condemned me for treating his blood like it was worthless. I have never felt saved and have never had a conviction deep down inside that Jesus did in fact die for me. No matter how hard I try to acquire faith, I can never attain it...it's so hard for me. My soul is stricken with fear, countless medications work to no avail, and I feel as though demons are hindering my access to findind faith in God. Sometimes when people begin praying and using Jesus' name, I feel hot flushing and uncomfortable feelings and this upsets me very much. I am fear-stricken and plagued with doubts. Help!

Honey, the very fact that you had the courage to post this means that you are headed in the right direction. Demons are hindering everyone's access to finding faith in God... that is their job. You cannot fight that battle. It isn't yours to fight. Turn it over to God. Whisper His holy name when you are frightened. The devil is banished when God is called upon. It is the law of heaven.
As for the baptism... I too was baptized in water when I was only 10... I did it for all the wrong reasons too... however, I believe that the act of communion (the taking of the bread and wine that signified Christ's sacrifice) is a "re-baptism" that allows you to recommit your life to God.
As for faith - faith is given to each of us in measure. Here is my suggestion to you to help you "find" your measure of faith... begin a journal of gratitudes to God. Write down the things you are thankful for... parents? friends? pets? I can't tell you how many times I have jotted a quick thank you for the beautiful blue sky and soft breezes! There are so many blessings out there. Satan tries to hide them from us by showing us all the bad things in life... but it is up to you to find them again.
And as you write your gratitudes - every day - you will begin to find your faith in God. You will see how He has protected you, loved you, and stayed close - even if you did not notice before - you will begin to see God in many aspects of your life!!
Fear is the devil's tool to separate us from God. Give your fear to God... ask Him to take over the battle... and the next time fear comes knocking at the door of your heart, say to the demons... "I will not fight you... you must go through my Father in heaven to get to my soul..."
The Bible promises us that God will place a hedge of protection around us. Begin reading His word and asking Him to show you the many many promises of protection from the devil.
Remember, God already won the battle for your soul. When Christ died for you AND me and all of humanity (yes he did!!!) and was resurrected, Satan lost. And he is a sore loser. He'll take you with him if he can... and try to keep from you the promise that God is in charge of your soul..
Hang in there... do the journal of gratitudes... and keep praying those silent whispers of God's name... He will fight that battle for you. I promise.

Demons DO torment people, and that kinda sounds like the situation here. My advice, go to a church and ask for the Pastor to pray for you. If you truly believe God is your Lord and Savior and that Jesus died on the cross to save you, then you should go down to that alter and get yourself saved. Make a public confession that you're saved. Say "IN THE NAME OF JESUS, SATAN GET OUT OF MY BODY, HOME, MIND, AND EVERY OTHER ASPECT". Satan will flee. I can promise you that. I will pray for you!
God BLESS.

You are in spritual warfare against Satan. Try reading and believing what it says in Ephesians 6:10 through 18. It will help you to use God to defeat him.

Do not be afraid. the Lord loves you so dearly.
I pray right now that the spirit of the Lord surrounds you, touches you and heals your heart as you read these words.
Listen. You need to start your relationship with him over. But this time believe. The word says that the man who doubt should not expect to receive any thing. Do not rely on what you feel.
First recommit your life to Christ.
Say: Pray.."Lord Jesus, I repent for my sins and I believe that you are the son of God, that you died for my sins and rose again. I receive you today as my Lord and Savior and ask you to come in my heart. I renounce Satan and any convenant my family and I have made, and I ask you to protect me. Amen".
Now in the name of Jesus-Christ I command you evil spirits, human spirits and whatever be your name to loose him and to never come back in his life. I cast you out to the pit of hell and I send the fire of God against you. You let him go now, he belongs to Jesus and you have nothing to do with him. I comsume all the fortresses you have build in his mind and I break all your chains in his life. Amen.
May the Lord himself take hold of you and direct you path.

Scary. I'd recommend staying away from churches and getting some psychiatric help.
Sorry you're having so many troubles but religion is only going to make you more crazy.
By the way, there's no such thing as a demon. It's all imaginary.

try not asking so much of Jesus, hes rather busy right now trying to stop his more powerful followers from killing and torturing people, maybe you will find peace by doing what you can to help others in the spirit of humility rather than concentrating so much on saving your own soul.
