I think we're burnt out on ridicule from the Republicans. It really is a low form of humor.

i'm tryiing to figure out how you associate Republicans and athiest,i mean it's always been my asumption that the religiouse right and republicans are one and the same or at least the religiouse right makes up a big portion of the republican party and to be quite honest with you for the most part athiests and pagans lean more to the left than the right i could be wrong about this but i don't think so.

Do you remember the story of the minister who wrote in his sermon notes (argument weak here pound pulpit hard? It is like this They have a limited number of arguments which they will not discuss any deeper. So since they can't really argue verydeep they must ridicule loudly. NOw look what I have done I have allowed myself to sound like one of them. I apologize. By the way as to where you don't believe the Bible says anything about mocking. Psalms 1:1 is one place it mentions it.

Why not? I never noticed it in the Bible saying, "Thou shalt not mock". In fact, I'm pretty sure it says that you're going to be "persecuted" for forcing your beliefs on others.. I guess that makes it right, in a way..
