i got a tattoo about 4 months ago and it healed great and everything but today i noticed that my skin where some of the black lines are drawn is kinda raised and its kinda irritated and a little itchy at times ...has anyone every experienced this?

I had this problem for awhile. It was still healing underneath the skin you can see. It will go away. Mine took a few months.

mine is like that too. I've had it for 1 1/2 years. I think it's a scar or something. it sucks but what I'm going to do it get some more work to cover it up.

I think the artist might have scarred you. he went in too deep with the needle/ or did you at any time scratch it. that would cause an infection/ try using bacintracin to remedy that irritation/ good luck

It was still healing underneath the skin you can see. It will go away. might take a few months.

I never had a tattoo, but sounds like it could be getting infected. Or you could be allergic to the colored ink.
Check with Doctor or call the place that did your tattoo, and ask them what to use on it.

WOAH, go to the hospital right away! That exact thing happened to me a couple of years ago, and now I am without a limb (my left leg). I always check the tatoo section of yahoo questions hoping I can help someone like me before it is too late. This is a serious infection. GET HELP NOW!

well where is your tattoo if it is on your back or so just put the back of the shirt down

use a lot of lotions it is still healing they went deep

HMM JUST TRY PUTTING A LITTLE ANTIBIOTIC ON IT DAILY, JUST IN CASE.
