I went to see a doctor about my body acne and he said it would clear up when I'm 18. I don't believe him since 20-30 year olds walk around with pimples on their face. I don't know if they're the same thing though.
Will it clear up or is it on me for life?

I think it is an individual thing, many times it does clear up when your hormones balance out at around 18 or 19 years of age. But my son had cystic acne on his back into his mid twenties, and the only thing that cleared it up for him was accutane. But beware, accutane does damage the liver. If you take it, you can never again use Tylenol or drink alcohol as both are metabolized in the liver, and using either will cause considerable pain.

No, it does not clear up around 18! It depends on whether treatment was given and individual body changes and the cause of acne.

It's not on you for life. I didn't get acne until I turned 22. I would recommend Aveeno Clear Complexion products.
