no, advil is not an addictive substance, you cannot become physically dependent on it. You can however become emotionally dependent on it. But then you can become emotionally dependent on almost anything if you are obsessive about it.

It is possible to be addicted to just about anything. If you really want to stop and you can't , then you might be addicted.
