i just went to put my pjs on and i found a lump on the back of my thigh. it's a solid mass that i couldn't pop... a little smaller than a golf ball. could this be a cyst?

hahaha i know i have to go to the doctor, it was like 1am... i was just curious. i just wanted to know if it's maybe happened to someone else before.

It could be, but it could be a lot of other things too. Only a doctor could tell you for sure. Since some of them could be potentially serious, so see one a.s.a.p. It's hard to tell by your description. Good luck!

So let me get this straight: A golf ball sized solid mass suddenly appeared on your thigh and you're asking Yahoo Answers what it is?
I'm no doctor but, perhaps YOU should seek one to poke around that lump a little. Ya know, just in case. Maybe?

Could be - might not be. Is is hard, soft, inflammed looking? Maybe a spider bite? How could anyone here know? Get to your doctor and find out.
