is walking uphill, let's say 3.5mph, same as running at 6mph? i heard that you still burn fat if you walk uphill or jog. i'm trying to loose belly fat what would be the best for me? should i jog the entire time, sprint and walk, just walk uphill? i don't really like running but i decided to do it to loose weight. i try to run about half a mile everyday loosing apprx 150calories will i eventually lose weight or is this nothing?

You need to run as much as possible. I didn't like it at first but now I love it. I did sit ups, crunches, etc. but my belly didn't get trim until I started running. I don't think the walking will do it. Set goals as you run, such as the next stop sign or street. And when you get there challenge youself to make the next one. You have to keep your heart rate up to trim your belly,.
Good Luck

You need to devote more time to your program. Sure, what you're doing now is a great start, and I commend you for that.

I suggest walking, running, or swimming an hour a day. Reason is, the body doesn't begin to burn fat until half hour of aerobic exercise. Eat natural foods.
