I usually read for a while and then try again. Try not to look at the clock and worry about it further. Just lie still and rest. That's better than no sleep at all. If the problem continues, see your doctor about a sleep aid. Lunesta works great. You take it, go to bed, and the next thing you know, it's morning. Night, night.

I would watch the idiot box or read a book..Do anything to keep your mind from racing.
If you just started a heavy cardio work-out program, you may have insomnia due to low melatonin production. However, your body will eventually correct the problem and you should be back to normal in a few days.
If you're still having trouble sleeping i would suggest going to the local health store (GNC) and purchasing melatonin. Its;s health benefits are numerous.

Sorry about using the wikipedia web page as a reference, (I am sure their are better references).however,I am in a rush...
Good luck.

Get ready for bed, lay down, and start yawning a lot. This triggers your mind into thinking you are really tired. Avoid caffeinated drinks too late, and take some Tylenol pm if you need too.

Try staying up all night one night, and then go to bed early the next day. I think you're getting tired to go to bed much later than normal.

Take an OTC sleeping pill early enough for it to kick in right when you want to go to sleep.

Start reading a grammar book. It will help you with both of your problems. It will show you how to write a proper sentence, and it will be boring enough to put you to sleep.

I take Ambien 10 Mg (prescribed by a doctor) and it really helps. You have to make sure you have 7-8 hours to devote to sleep when taking this med. I love Ambien!!!!!
