I like a pale blue, but it's a little too ordinary for me. I also like a purple because it would match this quilt cover, which I like.

in pink/multicolor.
I'm open to more colors though, (except yellow and pink) if anyone has any suggestions or opinions. Thanks!

A pale blue is nice. It's warm and comfortable. You don't want anything that is too bright because it might distract you when you wnt to relax and sleep. Any soft pastel color would be fine.

I would go with the blue because it will bring out the blue in your quilt. very nice, i really like the colors on the quilt. or maybe even a light orange, no pink, something to bring out the colors in the quilt.

Try mix and match instead of just one colour. Try painting some flowers or some scenery. If you do not want to paint, stick some nice big stickers. I think you can be creative and it does not have to cost you much. Regarding the mix and match, the paint comes with it catalogues which already have matching colours. Ask for this catalogue. Look around and see other people's room. Even in the internet. Then you will have some idea.

i'm seeing more sage like greens/ rust/browns & blues in this than purple/ pink ... so y not go w/ those colors. Do the greens & browns on u'r wall... u could even add some of the colors of the stripes & use blue for accents.

try that B creative & have fun!

Look in your closet for your favorite clothes and choose from the colors of those clothes what makes you happy.
If you are too chicken for those maybe bold clothes colors on walls, then paint the walls a neutral color and take the color of your favorite outfit and use that color to do ALL the major accessories!

Trust me. Purple would NOT match that. It's a beautiful bed spread though. try light green. I would match and it's an exciting and all together different color.

A light blue would work. Plus it is more versitle with other colors. You also need to factor in the other decorations in your room.

And ordinary colors are compatible to most things.
