Flaunt your GPA, impress the dad with sports knowledge (HEY! did ya know that the Mets have the best infield in baseball with youthful exuberance compiled with brilliant veterans and one-hit wonders?) Impress mom with the I am going to be a career oriented person who wants to help save the world like DARFUR!!! Talk about celebs (I HATE HOW THE MEDIA GLORIFIES THEM!)

I'm a parent, and I already don't like you based on the user name. You sound like a smart**** to me.
If you want them to like you, you have to change their perception of you. And that starts with YOUR perception of yourself. Do you want to be seen as responsible, level-headed, and trustworthy? You need to think of yourself in those terms, and then ACT THAT WAY. Be on time when you pick her up, and bring her home on time. Be respectful of her, and them. Come into the house when you arrive to pick her up, and talk with her parents. Call them Mr. and Mrs, not by their first names. Come dressed presentably, not looking like a slob. Drive a car that runs well, doesn't drip oil in the driveway, and doesn't sound like a tank. And if you've got a face full of piercings, don't wear them for the first six months or so. Maybe an earring, but nothing more. They want to see that their daughter is dating a person, not a tackle box or hardware store.
Then maybe they'll let you take her out for a few hours, during the day.
Does that sound harsh? Print this, and put it away for 20 years. Pull it out when you have a daughter that wants to go out on dates, and see if you don't agree with it.

you could be prince charming riding into their house on a white horse and they wouldnt like you because like you stated in your questionTHEY DONT WANT THEIR DAUGHTER TO HAVE A BF, and the fact that she doesnt respect their wishes and does so, will only cause them distress

just be yourself, don't make yourself out to be something you aren't, don't brag and for goodness sake don't hang all over their daughter in front of them. parents are ppl too and they like to be treated respectfully and like human beings.
