"Belief" is like a latter. Some are stuck on the "bottom," some on the first step, some on the second and so on, and "each one" thinks THEIR God is the "holy" one. So far I haven't seen many who have even gotten half way up that latter of "wisdom" to KNOW who the Lord "is" in heaven. Of all the religions of the world, ALL of them are intellectual FAILURES by not DISCERNING the "attitudes" or "behaviors" of the "God" they believe in. It certainly is the NOT the holy one of heaven who is PERFECT. As for being "egotisical" about my summation of truth, I have that "right" as I have studied over a course of "37 years," earned "3" PhD's and am an..................

No I don't. Do you think it is egotistical for non believers to know that there is no God and that they are the only ones right?

As quoted in Isaiah
"I am the Lord God, THERE IS NO OTHER."
The One True God measures the universe with the span of His hand. We cannot even comprehend the size of the universe.
All other "gods" plae in comparison to the Lord Almighty.
Isaiah makes it quite clear.

Yes. My god is my god and I don't care about other peoples.
Sure they have the freedom to worship what or who they please. None of my business but some people are annoying. I don't believe my god is the only god.
God is something that leads people in the right direction so they can live a happy and prosperous life.

Why would it be egotistical? God has made Himself true in my life and no other "God" has done that. I have researched other religions and the relationship that I have with my God is great. It would be egotistical if I pointed it in your face and threw it around like a jerk. I will be more than happy to tell anyone what God is doing in my life, but if you don't care, then I am okay with that.

You can call me arrogant for telling you a ball is round. You can deny the ball is round. You can try to prove the ball isn't round. But it will not change the fact that the ball is round.
Jesus is Lord, friend. Whether you believe it or not does not change the truth. Proof will come soon enough.
John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

This is what I have been saying for a while. They "know" their god is real, the same way a suicide bomber "knows " that he is doing the right thing by killing others to make himself a martyr. Everyone claims to "know" their beliefs is right, and everyone who says that is arrogant for saying it.

I don't understand when people say "my god" or "your god" when there's only One. Just because we have differing ideas of what the proper religion is doesn't change the fact that there's only One God.
so yes, in a way, it's egotistical to say "my God is real, yours is not".

I know my God. He is alive in every area of my life. He is not just something from a book. He leads me, guides, me and directs my steps. He is no less real to me than He was to Abraham who was God's friend and had conversations with God.
