they make nailpolishes, clear coat, that taste yucky. i think you can get them at kmart, walmart, rite aid type places. or try a local beauty supply place.
or put something foul tasting on the tips - soap, hot sauce, etc

Dip her nails in lemon juice. She probally wont like the taste.
Also, they have this special kind of like nail polish that if you put your nails in your mouth you get the worst taste. SO hopefully after this she will stop. Good luck!~

Well don't rush her. It will take time for her to grow out of that habit. You can ether tell her that you shouldn't bite your fingernails because it is not good for you. If she ask why then tell her because it bad to do that. But she will end up growing out of it soon.
