I never figured it would be if i don't use the Lord's name in vain. Strictly cos i'm prolly the most aggressive guyy with a very negative attitude (towards atheists and @ssholes ONLY i'm a very nice guy to nice people). I actually swear more in a sentance than i say actual words when i'm pissed. I think it suits me though cause i don't put up with bullshiit. it may be "un-Christian like" but i dont' give a shiit... if someone is biitching at me i'ma biitch right backk.
But the thing is i got alot of good qualities too thohh... like i said i can be a very good person to good people and not swear at all, i don't really have any sins to speak of unless of course swearing is actually a sin?

The sinfulness is not in the words themselves (other than taking God's name in vain). Words are just words. What makes the words sinful is the reaction that others will have to the words. In otherwords, if they are offensive to those that hear them, then like anything else, it would be sinful as you are offending people. I generally do not use slang language or swearing although I have had a slip or two so am not guiltless. I prefer that people with whom I associate do not use foul language not only because it offends me personally but also because I feel that it makes them appear ignorant. They are after all used most of the time as an adjective or adverb to enhance the meaning of the noun or verb.

Yes it is a sin. But if you want the truth there are alot of christians that do swear. I understand your anger towards those kinds of people but God wants us to pray for them and not show them our anger so that we can let our light shine on them so they can turn to God. I am quite sure that you have plenty of good qualities....most do. Swearing is a bad habit that alot of people have. It is hard to over come especially if your angry. But if you ask God to help you...the results can be amazing! My husband had the worst potty mouth ever when I met him....I mean every sentence!!!! When he asked God for help and kept praying...one day he just stopped totally. It was awesome. I will be praying

Which of these have you done? In your question, I see mostly vulgarities...not false oaths.
I also notice some prejudice...now that is something to take a look at! That will offend a person 10 times quicker than some off-hand vulgarities that everyone is used to hearing. And that kind of presumption is DEFINATELY a sin!

Yeh swearings a total sin! You really shouldn't swear I cut down for lent cause i was swearing contsttantly and now I only do it rarely!

I think it depends on who your around. If someone around you finds it ofensive then it's wrong to swear. If you're around people who don't care, then it's okay.
