Of course not. There are all different kinds of "intelligence", one of which being knowing how to interact with people.

Knowing the religious beliefs of people can help you to understand them and the way they live their lives. This doesn't necessarily mean that you have to agree, but it is especially important in today's world to understand what motivates so many people. After all, we do have to deal with them every day.

Yes, as long as something similar doesn't replace it. When people fall victim to religion, they stop thinking and expanding their knowledge. Over the course of a life time, this leads to a stunted brain.

Knowledge, no.

But I don't think knowledge of scripture has much to do with spirituality. It only increases one's ego making one feel superior to others without that knowledge.

It depends of which religion you speak. Obviously, Islam would tend to give credence to your assertion. However, Christianity counts numerous adherents of high station and IQ.

Knowledge is not so much a product of the Bible but wisdom is. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. You can keep your knowledge. I will depend on my wisdom.
