I have been going out with this girl from college for 18 months now and she has continuously refused to wear a thong or g-string. She always says she does not like how they feel but even so, she refuses to wear it for half an hour or even 10 minutes before we become intimate...
How can I get her to change her ways?

Maybe you could try wearing thongs for a week- you know, to show her how great it is.
Seriously? This is a sticking point in your relationship? What difference does it make what she's wearing right before sex? It's all going to come off soon enough. Anyhow, no means no. If you can't deal with that, it's time to find either a new fetish or a new girlfriend.

I know you probably don't want to hear this... but I'm pretty sure you there's not a lot you can do. I have two thoughts on it.... first is if she loved you part of being intimate is pleasing your mate for me as long as it's not outrageous things... I try to please my boyfriend each time if he wants me to wear something kinky well then whatever its not like it will stay on very long.... however my second thought is this, if she doesn't want to do it, it shouldnt matter.... like I said before its not like its going to stay on long.
If it were me though and I really wanted my boyfriend to do something like that for me... I would play the card if you do that for me I'll do something for you... anything you want. Wheel and Deal maybe you can trade ideas... you do what she wants and in turn she wears the thong/g-string underwear!

I can't blame her for not wanting to wear them daily, they do suck, but to not want to put one on as foreplay to get you all fired up makes her rather dull. She needs to work on her sexuality a little. You can just keep asking her nicely, tell her how much it would turn you on to see her in some sexy undies. Maybe buy her one and ask her to put it on. She's probably shy, but the more she does things like that, the more adventurous she will become. Just keep nudging her gently.
EDIT- Weatherscoool84 has the right idea. People are trying to make you seem like a bad guy just cos you'd like to see her wear something sexy for you. It's not like your asking for some S&M action.

Why do you have to be so persistant?? She doesn't like them! They make her uncomfortable. Let her wear something she feels good in so that she is comfortable. maybe some sexy lingerie, but if a thong or g-string isn't comfortable for her, then she isn't going to be comfortable in your alls love making session.

You cant force people to do something they dont what to do-if you do, it's called sexual abuse. Getting a girl to wear a thong for sexual pourposes would fall uder that catagory. If she ever wanted to wear a thong, don't you think she would have already started????

U really can't force her I mean if she's uncomfortable, she's uncomfortable. I don't like thong either but I like little boy short, lace underwear, they're sexy when I wear them, half my butt hanging, half covered. Try those maybe she'll like them better.

Why don't you try respecting her feelings and wishes? It seems pretty obvious that you are much more concerned about what you want than how she feels. She really shouldn't be "intimate" with a person who is clearly just using her. What a shame. The way she should change is to respect herself more.

There may be a little insecurity going on. Maybe she is embarrased or feels insecure about how she looks in one. Don't be mad at her.. tell her that she is beautiful and already turns you on, but if she wore one, it would really get things spiced up.
