you have two choices--1.) you break up with her, because a couple weeks (!) of not talking to this girl is a long time to just leave her hanging, and you said you don't love her-is that because she is controlling and ill-tempered? or is it because you just don't feel it anymore? Ponder over those two questions and if it's because you don't feel it anymore, well....then obviously things wont work out for you two and it's best to let her go instead of having her hang on with false hope. and 2.) The Talk--Now if you have not talked to her about her controlling attitude, and bad temper, then you sir, need to have one with her, VERY SOON because just letting all this stuff sit in your closet isnt going to get anything accomplished, you need to tell her how you feel about her attitudes and how you really feel for her. "I will do anything for you"- maybe that means she will work on her attitude in order to keep this relationship going if she really cares about it. (and of course, if you want it to...?) Past thoughts of wanting to break up with her tells me you don't feel it anymore, but I'm not the judge- you are, Good Luck!

You state she is controlling. Whether she is or not, you think she is that way. You think she has a bad temper. It sounds to me like you are not in love with her.
You are pretty young yet. Take your time and get to know other people. It will be hard, because it sounds like she has some issues going on, and she will make your life difficult.
She also needs to broaden her horizons -- she is pretty stuck on you, and yet you are only in the eighth grade. Make sure she has a chance to know there are other great guys out there too.

we're both curently going into eighth grade. she is really controlling and has a bad temper
Make sure you don't become physical with her then you can remain friends but not date. You don't need to make lifelong commitments yet she doesn't seem very mature and you both will meet lots of other people. As long as you don't get into a sexual relationship you can get in and out of hundreds of friendships and first dates until you find someone you can commit to and live happily ever after.

I say that you should think about if you still like her or not thats the key thing you need to make a relationship work. If you arent sure then trial breakup spend some time apart and see what happens.

Wow, you are going into the 8th grade and worrying about stuff like this already! Don't bog yourself down with this drama! Enjoy your childhood... you guys are not emotionally mature enough to handle relationships like this yet! Have fun with friends, flirt with girls, but don't get so serious yet! There is plenty of time for that when you get older!

If she is controlling then you should break up with her, and now, since you haven't talked to her for a couple of weeks. Don't let any girl control you!

well it really depends on how you really feel about her. if you dont like her then just dump her... but not too harshly. dont listen to her when she says things to try and get you back. and make her understand you clearly that its over between you two and you dont have anymore feelings for her if she keeps trying.

I think you've already broken up with her, by the sounds of it. If you can go for two weeks without wanting to speak to or see her, I think it's best to go your separate ways
