I need as many resources as I can get for people who are either considering leaving the Church of Christ or who have already left it. Books specifically would be appreciated (not the one by Morely though)

I don't think there will be too many books on the subject of leaving the Church of Christ, because I'm sure no one from the church will be offering any alternatives, and the denominations probably won't be writing anything specifically for Church of Christ refugees. Good luck in your search.

The only Book you need is the Bible!

If the church teaches what the Bible says, accept it.

If the church teaches what is not in the Bible, reject that doctrine.

Why do you want instruments, because they are authorized in the Bible (if so, where?), because you want entertainment, because someone likes it? Why?

Whose authority are you willing to follow? Who authorized what you want to do?

Jesus said he had "all authority" and the apostles were to teach what He had commanded. (Matthew 28:18-20) If we follow the authority or instructions of men then Christ does not have "all authority" in our spiritual lives.

You do not need a book, or even hundreds of books, written by men! Read the Bible and just believe and do what it says! "I could not go beyond the word of the Lord my God to do less or more!" (Numbers 22:18)

If we teach as doctrine the commandments of men, then our worship is "vain" or useless in God's eyes! (Matthew 15:9, Mark 7:7)

So, when you have the Bible, the word of God, why do you need the books of men? "We ought to obey God rather than men!" (Acts 5:29)
