It is just that right now they are so much in the news all over the world for doing stuff. It is only a matter of time until they do the car bomb here like they did in England.
Only there is a big difference. In the USA I do believe the back lash will be so great that the Islamic reliigon will be banned. Muslims don't stand up against the radicals which makes they look like they are in agreement with them.
So it is impossible to tell who are the good guys.
If they don't speak out against the terriorists all of them will be banned.

It may seem that way, AllahSlave, but the media is very careful to say it is radicals or fundamentalists; often the youth, like in France.

Terrorism has marred Islam, and a recent survey tells how it has isolated Mohammedanisms because people do not know who to trust.

That study also showed that 26% of the younger U.S. Muslims feel that suicide bombings are justified under certain circumstances.

With attitudes like that from another religion, would you want them as your neighbor or join them? Actually, I worked with Muslims and Catholics and as nice as they were, do not feel comfortable with their history of violence in the name of God.

The current crisis has sparked an interest in the Qur'an, and when I read it, it increased my distrust, and there just is not a single Bible manuscript of the thousands of translations that sustain Muhammed's accusation that Jesus was not God in the flesh, IMMANUEL. And the book of Isaiah was found intact in the Dead Sea Schrolls, 150 years B.C., and it substantiates those assertions.

Islam is not an accident, Allah Slave, but the prophets foretold their arrival and final outcome in the battle of Armageddon. Select www.revelado.org/isalm.htm

One more thought. Mainstream Muslims know they can not take an active part in opposing Terrorism, or their Mosques will be targeted. Yes, Bush was wrong when he said "Islam is a religion of peace." We didn't really believe him--that was just political politeness, and you better not defect from Islam, or they will kill you, too

Many people believe that muslims do little in bringing down those that use their religion to cause violence and harm. They see Islamic believers parading the streets in mass anger over a cartoon drawing of Muhammad or Allah yet will be quiet at best, or "sympathic" at worst, when acts of terrorism is done in the name of Islam.
People wonder whether Allah would be more upset about the terrorism rather than a cartoon drawing.

Because people tend to judge people by the actions of others. Take one bad apple Christian, and we are all labeled. Same with any religion. Same with people of various races. Same with gender etc. People tend to be judgmental and the media tends to do whatever they can do to sensationalize something in order to get their story and grab more limelight for themselves. It's sad, but true. Most decent human beings however, can distinguish between the facts and the lies. Most of us can tell that just because one Muslim individual does something bad, that doesn't mean all Muslims would do that. Anyone who can't figure that out is ignorant, sadly. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Most people are smarter than the media, except for those individuals who don't practice thinking for themselves.

Maybe because, although not all Muslims support terrorism, those who are against terrorism choose to be silent.
If some Muslims (imams and laymen alike) would speak out against terrorism, the world's attitude will change.

first of all uophreak2003 is obviously very ignorant and uneducated... if he were to actually pick up the Quran and read it... he wld kno then that Islam is tolerant and even Kind to all religons even if they do not follow the same religon as them... the problem with media is that they are uneducated in matters concerning Islam... most of the media is just like uophreak2003... ignorant.... they dont wanna pick up the Quran and find out what really is Islam and what is against Islam and is occuring as a crime within Islam.... ppl everywhere commit crimes... but they usually arent singled out for their religon and everything they stand for... but like some other ppl also mentioned, Muslims are a scapegoat right now for all of terrorism...
GOODLUCK!

Same reason that if ONE Mormon does something wrong...all Mormons are blamed. Repeat the same sentence with whatever group you wish.

We are each representatives of our faith. WE maybe the only exposure someone has to what we believe...and if we aren't striving to be a good representative...then we bring it all down. We are responsible to live the values we claim to believe.

Blind ignorance. These are the very same people who are weak and shallow and think only what the government tells them to. They are the dregs of humanity.
