my wife insists she will be 48 on july 4th, 2007, she was born july 4th, 1958.i love her but she is driving me nuts about this...HELP!!!!

sheesh... have you been married long enough to know not to argue with wife, on this topic? very risky. Just smile sweetly, and arrange to be elsewhere next year when AARP starts sending her eligibility mail.

They will be 49. July 4, 1958 was a Friday (according to the perpetual calendar---where the same monthly layout recurs ever so many years), and was in a non-leap year. July 4, 2007 will be next Wednesday. 2007-1958 = 49
Maybe your wife doesn't like to think she's moving in on the big "NIFTY FIFTY" next year. :)
I looked at the calendar for 2008 on my check register, and July 4 will fall on Friday again, as it was in 1958. Of course, 2008 will be a Leap Year.

It happens to the best of us, she will be 49, if that is infact her birthdate. MY wife and I both have a hard time remebering how old we are, we get it within a year either way , but since outr late 30s we either think where older, or younger, it must come with old age I guess. My sister was born in 1958, 58 is an even year, here is how to always get it right, it is 2007, and odd year, therefore ylur wife is 49, next year is 08, even year, she will be 50, just the opposite for eve nyear births,. she will be 49, odd years odd nuber, even years even .numbers
