I believe in a higher power that I call God. I think religions are good for teaching our kids about the concepts of a higher power (Religion), and about right & wrong, heaven, etc...

I consider myself to be spiritual but not religious. Religion is man-made. I follow the Divine Science of Light and Sound (http://www.masterpath.org) <--- to learn my beliefs.

I was raised Baptist, but it never seems to "take". I always had questions that could not be answered by Christianity and finally started researching other belief systems when I became an adult. When I discovered the Divine Science of Light and Sound, there was a recognition, as though it was an old friend from long, long ago. I began to study it and all of my life-long questions were answered. I respect this path because it teaches that there is value in all belief systems and that we are all naturally attracted to the path whereby we will learn the most and extract the most value in the current lifetime. Once all value is extracted, we begin to seek deeper. This path teaches respect for all living things and that the object of all spirituality is (((((LOVE))))).

spiritual atheist.

i believe everyone and everything is somehow connected, however small that thread might me. my actions affect people, who in turn affect other people and so on and so forth so that i have an effect on people i've never met and never will meet. when i die, i'm dead, the end. but i still continue to affect people because simply because people i affected while living are still affecting other people. i don't believe in a soul, but i believe in a higher self, which i see as pretty much the unconscious part of myself or the unused part of my brain or whatever. i believe there are universal morals that are inherent to human nature and by which we are bound. i believe we are connected to the earth and that the earth is connected to ous, and that we should therefore do our damndest to take care of it.

that sounds jumbled up, but i'm a little drunk right now so i can't make it make sense better than that at the moment.

oh yeah: how i came to this belief. i just did. it makes sense to me. it's evident. i mean, it's obvious that we affect other people. it's obvious that there are universal morals, because we all know it's wrong to kill without being taught it. it's obvious there's an unconscious part of ourselves--i mean, why else do we dream.

the only difference is that i care about these things more than most people. most people, when i explain this go "yeah i can see it." they just don't care. i care and i care deeply and that's what makes me "spiritual"

Yes, I am not a religious person because religious people are the most tormented individual person so highly legalistic mix with egos, full of condemnations, letting passion take the place of judgement and self-will reign instead of Scriptural Authority. In religion, man always fashion a god that he can handle. Biblically if theres anything that makes a bright person stupid and robs him of his common sense, it is "Religion". Of the total 214 existing nations of the world, 78 are dominated by Protestants Bible-Centered, 62 nations by Roman Catholics, 56 by Muslim religion, 12 by Buddhism, 4 by Hindus and 2 by false cultic religions. 92 nations plus 22 Territories.

I believe that we are one perfect "Son", or Self, created whole, perfect, and complete by perfect energy, or, "God", or, "All That Is"; I believe the world we think is real, is a set of simple images we project, (dream) out of our fear that we suddenly were no longer our "Father's" Son, but split into a multitude; I believe there is nothing but God, and god's Son...living eternally in perfect peace, perfect calm, perfect vitality, and perfect love.

I don't know how I came to this, it just seems to have always been with me...I had these beliefs long before I ever read A Course In Miracles, or The Science of Mind, or the Seth Material.

I don't go to a church because what they say there is nonsense to me. All I have ever known is that the bible is interpreted in many ways so how can anyone ever be sure who is right. My personal belief is along the lines of the Commandments, but I also have belief in things like reincarnation, karma, superstitions, etc.

I am athiest = no beliefs in gods/super natural....I came to this belief on my own. I grew up in a VERY christian home...with the bible shoved down my throat, and the threat of an eternal hell if I believed any other way.

With all this education (mandatory bible reading) I learned to think on my own, and realize none of this BS could ever be real!!!

I'm here, well kind of sort of.

My beliefs. I believe there is many Gods and Goddesses. However they happen to be one. Spirit. Spirit has both genders. When female energy is needed that's what you get, when you need male then you get male.

I don't believe in an ultimate evil, satan. I don't believe in hell in the christian sense. I believe hell is where we are now.

I believe that we reincarnate. We are here to learn lesson and experience life. When we are done we rejoin with Spirit and become one.

and I believe that I am one with the universe.

I have to come to the place I am now after drifting through Christianity and agnosticism, Buddhism and now spiritualism. I am still changing of course and always will be. That is the nature of life, to change. But formal religion is not for me.

agnostic though I lean towards atheism, spiritual. I believe in humanity around me. I came to my beliefs through a lot of reading and study and living...this has been a 20+ year process.

non religious is my religion and although born catholic I've broken free to study most religions and spent twenty years of fifty six discussing theism versus non theism before I had my epiphany to atheism . I support naturalism logic justice
many other isms and have learned a great deal just from the quotes of Albert Einstein . "Science without religion is lame ,religion without science is blind."
peace out as the Maharishi said to the Beatles when asked the meaning of life ...enjoy yourself.
