Good question, Rhet...:
Einstein was many things, but he wasn't a prophet. And if Jesus didn't know the day or hour, neither does Einstein.
Bees tend to become confused in areas where cellular towers are installed. Those towers tend to follow interstates and surround cities. So doubt that the world will become unpollinated.
However, we can know that we are at the "end of the days" because a Bible code was sealed until now. In fact, it says two times these words are sealed until the end of the days"
You can read its important message at http://abiblecode.tripod.com
And, if you are looking for Christs coming, you can BEE happy.
Blessings, Balaam

What I heard is the sun will rise from the west in 2012.My opinion is, the world will begin to end starting from the year 2012.The honey bees are dying off at an alarming rate and 3 years after the extinct of the bees comes the end of the world. The vast daily usage of the handphones is the main reason for the dying of the bees.

This supposed quote was investigated and written up on this Urban Legends web page:
http://www.snopes.com/quotes/einstein/bees.asp
In short, the web page says that there is no real evidence that Einstein ever said anything like this.
Also, all the bees aren't dead yet. A lot of bee keepers have seen their number of bees shrink lately, but most bee keepers still have some of their bees left. I've also noticed that there are plenty of bees buzzing around the flowers in my garden. From news stories I've read regarding the bee die-off, bees tend to be rather susceptible to a variety of diseases. This isn't the first bee die-off reported, but it does seem to be the most wide-spread so far.
And finally...
Einstein was a physicist. He wasn't a fortune-teller or prophet of some kind. He wasn't known for making predictions other than ones based on his physics calculations - and Einstein never published or lectured on any sort of equations involving bees.

You are correct as the honey bees, but it is not a major problem just yet, But, it could be every shortly.
2012 may well be the end, many signs point to the end being very near.
The Mayan calender ends in 2012, so many think that they knew something about the end. Only can wait and see though.

Honey bees haven't died off yet. Besides we still have those African ones. They do the same as honey bees, Just have a nastier temperament.
We could die if bees die because a great deal of our food crops exist only because of pollination by bees. No bees, no crop, no food, no us.
P.S. There's a big difference between "us" ending, and the world ending.

LOL!! no, it won't. what will happen is a shift in consciousness (that has already begun - people are abandoning christianity in droves as they become more aware of their consciousness) and a rise in the vibrational level of the planet. The universe is evolving and we must evolve with it. It's the beginning of a new age.
Who said the honeybees are dying? I'm afraid you've been victim of propaganda created with the intent to stir fear. That's rubbish. And Einstein was not Nostradamus, he was a scientist.

At the rate things are going, Jesus may come back around 2020. I am not a date setter but given the accelerated state of what humanists are trying to accomplish with cloning, and the "singularity", something is going to have to give.
When Jesus comes back, life will return to an agrarian society.
Gone will be the oil mongers and the war machine.
For scripture verses on that subject, e-mail me.

When did Einstein say such a weird thing, when I heard the date I thought for sure you were speaking of the end of the Mayan calender and that random computer program, but I will quote Jesus
"No one will know the day or the hour."
