If your a good person but not a Christian, you think that you get to go to heaven too?

No one said non-Christians cannot be "good" by the world's definition. The world's definition doesn't count with God though.

I think I would have to believe in heaven in order for me to get there...It still doesn't change that I am a good person, or I try to be...

My guess is that if someone is a good person and not a Christian, they wouldn't care about whether they went to Heaven.

I think a good person though not a Christian should still go to heaven.People go to heaven because they are good people ,not simply because they believe in Jesus.If you believe in Jesus but you do all the bad things,I really don't think you 'll end up in heaven. Besides we are not the ones to decide who go and who don't,God is the one .

I'm a Christian if you are not a Christian but you are a good person you do not go to heaven you have to except Jesus as your lord, and your savior, and you have to go to church, really be into it, and you have to make a commitment that you will love him and except him into your heart no matter what....

well everybody or every belief system have their own definition of heaven, so i believe yes.

but if you are talking about the Christian heaven, then no... being a good person isn't the requirement to get into their heaven.

I personally think that God judges us based on what we know. So yes, I do think that people who are decent go to heaven. Those who go around teaching that babies go to hell because the parents weren't saved are just way to judgmental. I mean, who are we to tell God who goes to heaven and who goes to hell???

a saved person goes to heaven just bc you say you are a christian and belive in God is not enough you have to ask forgiviness and then only then you will go to heaven.

There is none righteous, no not one.......how good would you have to be? Who can be good enough? The fact is none of us can be good enough.....we would have to be perfect and sinless to fulfill the condition to get into heaven......thus, the perfect, sinless Son of God, Who paid our penalty for our sins and redeemed all who will put their trust in Him. He is the only way us mortals can enter heaven.
