It's currently the best online resource for everything USMC. They have message boards for loved ones of recruits... And some old 'Dawgs hang out, helping the newbie parents... You'll also get hooked up with the training matrix for Hollywood Marines... so you can track what he's doing in any given week. It's fun stuff!!
And when you write to him... tell him you spoke to a Marine Mom who thanks him for his service... and encourages him to hang in there...

I had a 28" waist back in dino days and could eat anything. A full head of hair 6 months later. I look more like Kojak now. Was an adventure though.
