About two hours ago.
A friend and I ran into a gas station convienence store and an elderly lady was coming out as we were going in. I held the door for her and we chatted. She turned to us and told us not to be onery tonight so I asked her if she was going to be the onery one this evening, then. She thought that was really funny and we a laugh together.
I am not a shy person, so I often talk to people. Most people love being talked to, complimented, and simply included in life.

Today, at Wal-marts. I WAs in the check out behind an elderly gentleman. The cashier told him the amount, I think it was under 40.00 dollars. He handed her what looked to be 2 twenties, and started loading his buggy, not paying attention to what the cashier was doing. But the cashier got his attention and handed him back one of the bills. He ask her why and she told him that he had given her a fifty and a twenty. when I got up to the registers I told her that most cashiers ( I'm not talking about all ) but most would not have done that and that I thought that she was a very pleasant and honest person. She did not know what to think and she gave me a big smile.

Today. I was at the mall with my 3 and 5 year olds and the 5 year old pitched a fit about the noise the elephant made at the Rainforest Cafe (it's a fake elephant btw lol). She refused to take my hand so I could lead her around it, and tried to run off. So I said "that's it, we're going home", took both their hands and marched them thru the mall to the car. Both of them screamed bloody murder all the way, and every mother within earshot laughed, knowing exactly what I was going through.

Several times today.
During several phone conversations with an eventing rep, a local judge, and a caterer.
And I got a grin out of the young shy delivery boy bringing my supper.
I love to laugh and smile. I speak or nod to just about everyone.
It makes my day when I get a grin, smile, or a wave back from a stranger.
WHY?

Today I was at the gym and I forgot to take my dress shoes from the car so after the shower and stuff, I had a pretty summer dress and I had to walk out with my cross trainers. I wear normally jeans, but it seems that weird things happen when I wear a dress.

The other day when I dropped six cases of bleach at the humane society. They had posted "In desperate need of bleach" on their marquee two weeks prior. I finally gave in and bought them some bleach. The lady at the front counter was ecstatic. I felt warm and fuzzy for a brief moment.

About 2 hours ago in the grocery store.. The lady in front of me in line was a few dollars short so I gave her the money she needed.. She asked for my name and address so she could repay me I told her to help someone else in need and that was payment enough..
