Probably a 8. I don't see any reason to advertise it. Although I wouldn't say I'm not (except twice because people were having interesting arguments which I wanted to hear) religious I don't go around telling everyone I am and most people don't know, until I tell them that I'm religious.
For me religion impacts the way I act--- I try to act by the 10 commandments and so forth. However I know people just as religious as me, and because of it they are a complete nut case. How much you believe and so forth isn't important, it's whether you let it control you. And trust me, you don't need it written down to know, you can see it in the way people act.
Way would you need the religiosity ascertained? In the big picture it isn't why they do something, it's what they do. Religion is the why, not the doing.

Desiree, I take umbrage at your question. So ONLY Christians are Religious? As a practicing Wiccan Priest for OVER 38 years, I would stack MY Religious credentials alongside ANY Christian that you can muster up for the comparison. I have read over 300 books on Religion, INCLUDING 17 different VERSIONS of the Bible, The Torah, The Koran, The I Ching, And the Holy Books of many other Religions. YOU, woman, are a Pharisee. You profess to "know it all" about the Bible but have NOT one idea about the SPIRIT of that work. Based on your OWN scale I'd rate YOU as a 1. Truly Religious people not only read their OWN Holy Books but read others as well, for comparison and evaluation. Truly Religious people LEARN about others, for through knowledge can come understanding, and with understanding can come appreciation and compassion. Your question and premise is a totally chauvenistic one, based on ONLY your narrowmindedness. I hate to shock you BUT Christianity is NOT the ONLY Religion on the face of this planet. It is NOT even the LARGEST Religion on the planet. That would be Buddhism, followed by Hindu. THEN Chrsitianity (ONLY if we take ALL sects of Chrisianity and lump them ALL together), then Islam (and watch out because Islam is NOT far at all behind and gaining on Christianity). True, paganism is WAY down the list BUT if we Included Hindu and Buddhism (As so many of you Christians are so eager to do), then Paganism would be in the #1 spot by a WIDE margin. In fact Pagans would outnumber ALL the Abrahamic Faiths, combined, by a margin of 2 to 1. So, I think you had BEST show a little bit MORE respect to the other Religions of the World. It's attitudes like YOURS that are driving away members of your OWN Faith right into the arms of the more tolerant and loving Religions of the world.
Oh sure YOU and your fellow XTIAN Bigots are going to Thumbs down this answer but YOU and your "friends" WILL know that not ONLY are you NOT Christian, you barely qualify as Humans. You are NOT unkown to me. I've SEEN your hate filled posts for a month now. You HIDE behind the name of Jesus and the REAL Christians know you too. I have recieved MANY notes from them about you and I can tell you with certaintly that the VAST majority of Christians feel the same way about you as I do. You are a black mark on Christianity. YOU should be ashamed of yourself.

You just do not get it. Christiantiy is not a religion. It is a personal relationship with God.
If you want to have something like that on your driver's licence
why not 'On the scale 0-1-2, what is your faith in God and His Word'. Yours might be 0 all the time, but us, it would be 1 or 2 depending on the day.

At the age of 9 I was Minus One. Now, at 71, I am still Minus One. As to printing it on my state ID card or SS card, no, it's none of the government bloody business. This is not a theocracy yet, dear heart.

what you are asking is like the same thing as putting a "gold star" on all the jews.
my personal opinion would be that I had a 9.5 on my record.
but nowadays, religion has proven to be corrupt from the very lowest to the very highest. and even anti religionistts are religiously zealous in their own religion of unbelief.
Without God, there would be NO life on earth.

Zero. And why would it help anyone to advertise? The Germans had religious advertising in the 1930's and 1940's, and that really helped the Jews. All it would do is lead to persecution (in all likelyhood of the non-religious or religious minorities, not mainstream).

Why would this information be important to you or anybody else?
Much of the Bible is literal. Perhaps, 80-90% literal. The rest may be symbolic.

No that would interfere with separation of church and state, but did you ever hear the guy on youtube with his fundamentalist scale, it is similar, on his scale I was about a 6 or a 7.

I'd be a 9
Many countries have religious/ethnic affiliation on identity cards and i think that that is a bad idea since the information is used to harrass and even persecute people.
