it used to be never ever could i get my camera when i found the perfect picture. but then i got my point-and-shoot. and if i dont have my point-and-shoot camera then i use my cell phone....which has the world's crappiest camera but its all i have in a bind. but no i usually dont have my artsy camera when i want to.
thats why photography is half talent, half good timing, and half having a good camera.

"Missed Opportunities", a topic every serious photographer gets around to thinking about and doing something about (such as carrying a camera more often) eventually...
I made my wife and a friend late for a luau on Maui two years ago because I insisted on taking photos of a sunset. Volcanic gases from the Big Island had blown over Maui and the sunset was spectacular!
I also got an award winning photo at the luau...

It stinks to say this, but for me it always seems when I need my camera the most I don't have it! I'm working on carrying it with me way more often. But if you don't have it with you, don't mope or freak, just live for the moment and have a good time! You'll always have memories =)

Yep! I keep it with me at all times. I'm not good enough to always catch the moment, but the camera is always there.

No. But this is what cell phones are for.
Cell phones and photography shouldn't really go together in the same centence, but I still think a cell phone picture is better than no picture at all.
