I have my favorites:
Finding Nemo (cutest anmation ever!)
Lion King (its a classic)
Home Alone (1, 2 or 3 they are all holarious!)
Chicken Run (makes you believe, and think twice about eating chicken!)
ET (its a shame if you havent seen it)
Harry Potter (although it is for older kids)
The Little Mermaid (best disney original about people/fish)
Mary Poppins (helps imagine)
Monsters Inc.(very colorful and easy to undestand, and makes you kids sleep alright at night)
Peter Pan (the new version is really well done)
The Secret Garden (so sad yet happy)
Shrek(too funny to tell)
Wizard of Oz (little red slippers and melting witches)
My all time pick:
The sound of music
it has amazing songs and tells a great story aboutnuns in love lol. but it really is awesome!

I don't know why people are suggesting Ratatouille... it's barely in theatres, let alone for rent...??
Anyway, whichever movie you ended up choosing... I hope you re-considered the pitcher of Mojitos! What could make a night in with the kids more exciting!? ;-) ::Hiccup!::

We just watched Bridge to Terabithia and it was excellent. another option would be (in my opinion) almost any of the Disney movies, animated or live action. They are interesting, fun AND have some great humor that has an adult level as well as a kids level.
I recently watched Flubber with Robin Williams....it's great!

I am sure you have already gotten your movies but for the next time you should try Dinosaurs. The kids are 10 and 14? and the dinosaurs are miniature and adorable. My 3 yr old watches it with my 16 yr old.

How to Eat Fried Worms. I rented it a couple weeks ago with my 9 year old niece and we both loved it (and I hate kids movies!)
