Amazing grace who saved a wretch like me. It's all his grace that brought me to Him, because on my own I can't achieve anything.
First grace, then my parents baptized me, and I received grace and later as I developed conscience I grew up to seek Him and to Love HIM. I later realized that all my life i had longed for HIm very much and everything I tried to do apart from him always resulted in failure and misery, and i ralized that he was calling me, i got on my knees and I prayed: My God, take me back to you, claim me as one of your own. He has been my srenght, my shield, my fortress and my Savior.

Kelly K. My story is different than most ! The summer of 1964 I was just a boy of four and I was behind our house in Rome Illinois.I was watching boats on the river nearby when I seen what I thought was a fog bank. But it rose up and drifted my way,It covered the area and I heard a voice say , one day you will either sing for a living, become a police man or go to the great white north ! For 21 years I told no one/ But in 83 I had a briefly fatal motercycle accident. So I began making pans to begin singingin the summer of 85. But I also bought a new bike and found out my wife was cheating wich I then learned was why I got drunk and had my first accident. I failed to learn so history repeated itself. Got drunk and wrecked again. But this time I was paralyzed on the left side, wich was my dominate side ! So here I sit retired at 25 and now it is 22 years later. But awhile back I was baptized and I am keeping the faith ! I know that I am being refined for my future ! Singer or great white north ! My head injuries from my accidents means that I can no longer be a cop cause I can"t get a firearms permit. So I patiently wait. Wich I have never had patience before 85.

I was born without baptism and I am 20 years old still without (soon will be). For the first 20 years I have not read much if anything from the Bible. It all changed when a book of Islam was put forth and ended up in my hands. In the first page it says that the Torah is distorted, the Injil is lost, and began exploring their Quran (their holy book). I read through the Quran reflecting upon what the Bible contains and saw how flawed Islam is, they go against their own holy book which is quite arrogant. In the Quran it is written only men of understanding and God(s) knows what is written in the Torah and Injil.

Follow Acts 2:38...

Then Peter said, Repent, and be baptized everyone one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the Holy Ghost.

Repent - tell God sorry for everything I've done

Be baptized in Jesus' Name - to be fully immersed in water in the Name of Jesus. It's the Name, not the water, that removes or remits ALL of your sin....doesn't matter what you've done and for how long you've done it.

Receive the Holy Ghost - The Holy Ghost is not just a good feeling. It is the power of God living on the inside of you. It is what Jesus promised the disciples in Luke 24:49 "power from on high". The disciples received this power, the Holy Ghost, on the day of Pentecost. See Acts chapter 2. They received the Holy Ghost by speaking in other tongues as the Spirit of God gave them utterance which means God talked through them.

Then live right....can't go back to the old ways.

I grew up in a very nominal home. I became depressed because of drug use and low self esteem. I found out that there was more to the life with Jesus than trying to work really hard at being good. which I just could not seem to do.

I found out that there was power from God to help you overcome depression, drugs, and having to try so hard on my own power to be good. I found out about the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Then I found out that there were people like me who also believed in this and wanted to support each other in living a Christian lifestyle and I joined them. 31 years later I am more on fire and more able to help others than ever before and I am still with those people who love God and love me.

I was raise in a false religion, totally devoid of the true Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I heard the Gospel when I was a sophomore in high school from a speaker who was a last minute replacement due to a snow storm, which never would have been approved by the head guy in the religion of my parents.

I had been reading the Bible on my own since I was seven years old and many of the things I could see going on in that religion did not line up with the Bible.

As a young 28 year old Pastor, I heard that from those in the religion my young, from adults who told me things I had asked them when I was as young as seven years of age.

I was raised in the Christian faith, but I had the misfortune of being raised in a Pentecostal church and thought for most of my childhood that God hated us and was just waiting for me to screw up. When I was 18 I attended a "revival" and the sermon was about God's love. I was flabbergasted to say the least. That was the night I accepted Christ and my Lord and Savior and that was 26 years ago. I now consider myself to be a Christian non-denominational and do not adhere to any church law. I try my best to follow the teachings of Christ.

I grew up in a Catholic family.

When I was 30, I accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

From the point on, my life change for the better.

Btw, I was not involved witrh a church at the time. So no one brainwashed me.

It was what the Bible says the Holy Spirit that changed me.
and lives inside of me with His Spirit.

I hope and pray one day you too can experience this change.
It s easy and I;'ve never met a person who regretted it.

I was raised Catholic and attended Catholic churches into my adulthood. When I read the Left Behind series, God opened my eyes and for the first time, I really understood what it was all about. I still attend my Catholic Church and go to Bible study.

I am so happy where I am with God and I'm glad that He waited to open my eyes, because now I can understand the difference of someone who attends church and someone that really believes. It is a big difference. God Bless.
