Not only is it good, but it is very good. On a 4 point scale, it will get you into most honors programs. It is good enough to gain membership in Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society for Two Year Colleges, and will actually gain several different scholorship opportunities. Anything over 3.0 is considered a good GPA. Keep up the good work.

Yes, it is good. Now you must choose a good university and get a scholarship. You deserve it!
But, I guess that if you are indeed smart enough to get a 3.8/4, you are smart enough to know that you have a good GPA. Or, do you go to one of those over-achiever schools like we have here in Palo Alto, CA?
Don't worry if others have 4.0. It's what YOU do with your achievement that matters.

Yes, a 3.883 out of 4.0 is good. It would qualify you to graduate with high honors (Magna kum laude).
