Im trying to find the right breed of small dog for my apartment. Somethindg close or under 35 lbs, crazy, and loving. Hyper dogs are the best. Any breed suggestions?

I am a bit confused. You want a hyper dog in an apartment? What will your neighbors think if the dog is running around and barking all the time? Of you really want a hyper dog, Jack Russell Terriers and Rat Terriers are very cute but they are very active and tend to bark a lot. West Highland Terriers are very cute as are Norwich Terriers. There are many breeds that might fit your criteria so it's a question of looking around and deciding what's best for you.

i'm hoping that you understand that hyper dogs are hard to manage. and that 'hyper' is not a balanced dog. and please know that you need to give them the exercise and mental stimulation so that they can keep them from being uncontrollable and undesireable leading to getting rid of your dog or even euthanasion. and by excersize, i dont mean just a 5 min around the block walk. i mean a REAL walk for about 20 minutes. just because they are small doesnt mean that they dont need the exercise. without the exercise, they may become aggressive and a yapping dog..and bite as well.
okay, so
highenergy dogs that are small would probably be the terriers. the largest terrier is the airedale terrier so stay away from that breed. they are a tough breed that is known for hunting rats and badgers and etc by running through ungerground holes and such. they CAN be however, a bit on the stubborn side.
breeds such as the fox terriers, west highland terriers, parson russel terriors are great breeds. fox terriers and russel terriers are common in shelters and humane society so please check them out first rather than just going to a breeder.

Boston Terrier, French Bulldog, Pug, Jack Russell or Border Terrier. They are all crazy hyper breeds with lots of personality. Of all them the Jack russell would be the craziest.

A shelter dog would be right for you. There are alot of hyper , crazy small sized dogs there. I would look at terrier mix dogs, I have one that you have described to a tee. Good luck in your search!

Chihuahuas and Papillons are both small crazy and loving dogs. However, you may get evicted from yapping. How about a cocker spaniel or a beagle. They're pretty mellow, but fun. Even a grayhound makes a good apartment dog.

Jack russels are nuts can be cray scattterbrained but will jump all over you and lick ur face till your in hysterics they tend to wga there whole bodies when wagging there tails , at least my 2 do one of mine is a cross with a chiuaua though but hes crazy all the same

What about a silky terrier? They are bigger than yorkies but still have LOTS of energy! I had one that lived 14 1/2 years and he was the best!

LOL, I have a pug and he is crazy! Pugs are the biggest of the toy breed and have the best temperment! Good luck!

I have a min pin terrior mix. Shes totally crazy and loves to play. I would sugest eather bread. Or a mix. You can go to my 360 page I have a picture of her on it. I alos have her on myspace. I love my dog:)
