Let me add this. There was a double fence lined kennel and a buried fence around the yard. This dog was not going to stay put for anything.

If a fence does not keep him contained, tether him or crate him when you can't watch him, it is the responsible thing to do.

I'm not sure I understand your question. Why is the dog running loose so it can chase other animals? Do you live on a large farm or ranch? The solution is to confine the dog so it can't get into trouble. That way you won't have to put the dog down.

Greyhounds want safety and so they end up very connected to their proprietor additionally they're sprinters now not lengthy distance runners. I do not believe it could be reasonable on your puppy whilst you become a member of the navy until you believe you are going to nonetheless be ready to have interaction with it on a day-to-day groundwork. What approximately a puppy which could also be very individuals pleasant as good as athletic? I'm pondering a lab could be a well alternative. This manner whilst you depart for the navy it is handy on your puppy to be cozy with a care taker.
