Do people with higher metabolisms go to the bathroom more?

Sorry to be blunt! Curious though - with all this information on here about metabolisms and what not, do people with higher metabolisms go to the bathroom more?

No. They process burn calories faster, but going to the bathroom is based on the intestines (eliminating food from days ago--at any given moment you have about 20 lbs in your digestive tract) and the amount of liquid you drink.

Plus often people with higher metabolisms eat more frequently, but not in higher quantity so your body isn't having to eliminate more often b/c its the same amount of food--just spread out.

People with higher metabolisms should be using the bathroom at the same rate as anyone else. You should be using the restroom at least once a day. It depends on the person and their dietary intake. Many people who eat spicy foods as well as heavy amounts of fatty foods tend to use the restroom less and possibly have irritable bowel syndrome. Depends - drinking a lot of water = going to the bathroom more often. When I work out, I drink about 50 floz of water. When I get home, I pee about every half hour for a couple of hours! I think it has more to do with diet than it does with boosting metabolism though.

higher metabolism means you digest food faster, and when you digest it, it has to get out faster. Unless you ate too much dry stuff, then you are in torture! Thats why we need to drink a lot of liquid.
