Security Guard, Private Detective, Court Officers (judges, Some attorneys like Proscecuters, and bailiffs etc...), Railroad investigators, Federal investigators of all sorts...FBI, ATF, All Law enforcement, Postal, Air, Immigration..Port Authority etc., Anyone who has to transport valuable goods and property like bodyguards and couriers can get permits usually in some cases.
Unfortunately, bad people don't regard laws so they get guns anytime at a moments notice. Only decent people obey the law so we are hindered and burdened by ridiculous feel good laws( not me since I don't buy or own guns) that make alot of people happy but are really ineffectual with respect to crime and violence and only apply to a very small margin of legitimized gun sales.

The office of the company I work for is in the same building as the Social Security Admin. They have a peep hole on their office door, and when I see people coming and going from there, they usually have a gun strapped to their belt or holster, or whatever you carry a gun in.
