Good for her. My husband and I dated for 2 yrs and finally one day I asked him if he thought we would get married and he said "yes" and then I asked him when he thought we could get married and he said "anytime you want". We've been married 27 yrs so I guess you could say it worked out. If I hadn't asked him he may never have gotten the idea. If a woman really wants to get married ; if that's her ultimate goal, Why not? There's no reason to waste your time wondering. If he really doesn't want to get married you can move on .

Hmm... Good question... I don't know... My one friend feels that is totally wrong... I say if she proposes to the guy either the guy is shy or he wants her to feel in control...

I think she knows what she doing, taking control. Men take control too much, women need to do more.
