I have been to 3 different doctors and they don't listen to me. I know I am not crazy. For about a year now, I have had pains in my neck, back, knees, feet, chest and pelvis. I have had headaches and an anxiety attack. The pain is always in different areas mentioned above. One day my back hurts, another day my chest and so on. I have had an MRI done on my chest, knee, and abdomen area. All are fine. Bloodwork is fine. Sometimes, I get a burning sensation on my thighs or lower back. I feel like I am falling apart. I am only 30 years old. The only problem I have ever had is a mitral valve prolapse. Has anyone had these symptoms? Any ideas of what it could be?I just want to add I wake up at night at least 3 or 4 times and constantly tired.

Your symptoms indicate Fibromyalgia. I recommend you see a rheumatology doctor who can properly diagnose your condition. Fibromyalgia does not show up on any tests. It is diagnosed by eighteen different trigger points on your body. Only a doctor of rheumatology can do this.

Muscular pain, tingling, burning, and numbness are common symptoms of a repetitive strain injury. However, these symptoms are also common in a condition called Fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia basically means pain in the muscles, tendons and ligaments. It affects mostly women and up to 4% of the general population.

The pain of fibromyalgia occurs in areas where the muscles attach to bone or ligaments and is similar to the pain of arthritis. The joints themselves are not affected, however, so they are not deformed nor do they deteriorate as they may in arthritic conditions. The pain typically originates in one area, usually the neck and shoulders, and then radiates out. Most patients report feeling some pain all the time; and many describe it as "exhausting." The pain can vary, depending on the time of day, weather changes, physical activity, and the presence of stressful situations; it has been described as stiffness, burning, stabbing, sudden, radiating, and aching. The pain is often more intense after disturbed sleep.

The other major complaint is fatigue, which some patients report as being more debilitating than the pain. Fatigue and sleep disturbances are, in fact, almost universal in patients with fibromyalgia, due to lack of serotonin. People with Fibromyalgia always have low levels of serotonin. medication can be given that will help increase serotonin Levels.

i suggest going to a reflexologist. sounds crazy but the idea is that they can manipulate areas of your feet that are connected to other parts of your body. Or try a holistic dr. that can treat your problems at the root, not just medicate you. in the mean time, try taking the herbal supplement Valerian. It's very good for minor anxiety. You could also try saint john's wort supplement for general mood issues. Yoga may also help you mentally and physically.

i am so sorry for u, but i am no better to u, dr.s are not patient to listen to our complains, their work is saving life, they would do anything to keep a dying patient alive, as to the pain, they couldn't care less, because pain won't kill u , they just torture u without mercy, and u r the only one suffering, healthy people could never have sympathy to us, my dr.s always said i have stress,he gave me xanax, i said i don't need that kind of meditcation, i am not mental, the more u talk back, the more they believe u made the pains up in yr head ,i am not rich, no special treatment would come to me ,i am just like the others, suffering in silence,

I'm so sorry you have to meet with all of that rejection, its frustrating. Have you mentioned Fibro Myalsia, or even Chronic Fatigue Syndrome? Your symptoms sound typical of both of these conditions. You can go to Mayo Clinics web site and read about both and research what type of doctor would be best for helping you.
Good Luck, I hope you get some relief soon!!

I can tell you're really suffering, and that very sad. Do you live in the US?

We have a show named "House" where the dr., Dr. House, of course, takes this kind of test and that kind of test and always, at the last minute figures out what the patient's problem is. Dr. House is a Diagnostician. That's what you need. You need a dr. who specializes in figuring out what's wrong.

Feel better!

no you are not crazy but high anxiety levels can lead to physical ailments.whatever you do, do not let some quack tell you that you have fibromyalgia and put you on meds.do not take xanax or any other anxiety drugs.i have seen this totally ruin hundreds of peoples lives including my own daughter.life is not easy.the world we live in is very stressful.ask jesus into your heart and ask him to give you peace.just say jesus,i know i am a sinner. i know you died on the cross for me so that all my sins could be forgiven and so i then can spend an eternity wiith you in heaven.please come into my heart and save me,heal what is ailing me. he will gladly come but only if sincerely invited.find yourself a king james bible and start reading 15 minutes minimum per day.be faithful to god and he will be faithful to you. as i told someone else today, satan is causing all kinds of ailments and horrors in this world, god allows it because he wants us to come to him. we never go to him unless we are desperate.then when he fixes things we forget all about him.this hurts him. so please do yourself a favor and seek out jesus.one hr to spend in church a week is no time at all really.imagine if you die and are standing before him and then would be a bad time to realize he was really there all the time. and jesus casts you out for all eternity and you have to tell him why he should let you stay and you have to come up with a legitimate reason for not having one hr a week to sing him songs.what would you say? well, i know you only wanted one hour and i know there are 148 hrs a week but really i was too busy to give you one of them?
dont risk it and dont continue on in pain. you are not crazy. your pains are real.no mri can diagnose or find anything wrong.?think about that for a minute and you will realize what i am saying is true for if you do not ask jesus into your heart i can see you in a pain management clinic addicted to prescription drugs that do not and never will, take the pain away or on xanax for your stress.jesus is a much easier and healthier solution to all your needs.he is yours for the asking, always has been always will be.i will pray for you.

Could be Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. These disorders don't show up on any tests. Try going to a Rheumatologist.

I believe in chiropractor's. just my opinion they have done wonders on me. Find someone that recommends one because they don't always give the same results. Good luck.

P.S. It is good to believe in god.
