Enforce our laws NOW & DEPORT!

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/nationworld/2003767408_immig29.html

WASHINGTON — The political battles that helped bring down sweeping immigration legislation in the Senate are sure to rage on, although the bill is all but dead until after the 2008 elections.

"Immigration is going to have to wait until we get a new president and a new Congress," Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said after a 46-53 procedural vote Thursday derailed efforts to move the bill toward final passage.

We need to forget about color and religion. Our country is in trouble. Americans come in all shapes colors and sizes, but.......we are Americans. This is what should bond us together against the world. Do you really think any other country gives a damn what happens to America? Heck, they are praying for our death. Lets focus on Americans, of all colors.

Listen........this is America and our country should put Americans first in everything. Immigrants should not have any rights here at all, lets take care of our fellow Americans first. America is NOT the lifeboat for the rest of the world. We dont owe anyone a damn thing except to our veterans.

Other countries dont even allow immigration........there is no real reason we need immigrants anymore. Let the people from other countries build up their own country, dont run away and try to hide in America. America was built at a price of blood.......most immigrants today are cowards in their own country, thats why they try to hide here. Americans are willing to die for our country, but the immigrants obviously would rather let someone else do their fighting and sacrifice for them.

There are PLENTY of Americans ready to work for a decent wage. We dont need immigrants. The H1B visa program is a scam by big business, dont believe for a second they cant find any qualified Americans to take a job.

Its time we took back our country and maybe even changed the form of government we have. We are no longer represented fairly, the representation is for the wealthy and special interests.

The Americans in our country come in all colors and religions. There is no race involved. What IS involved is simple......this is OUR country and we dont want anymore damn immigrants........got it?

People, we built this country and many of us shed blood for our country, we deserve to have a home, secure from foreign invaders. An illegal immigrant is a foreign invader.

America is in a death spiral. We cant carry the weight of every crybaby immigrant that wants into our great country.

We need to put a MORATORIUM on all immigration, until every single American is taken care of first.

AMERICANS FIRST........then..maybe...a few immigrants here and there.

We Americans May be closer than we think..........to that special time...........time to lock and load

The US Senate is run by rich politicians owned by big business. They could care less about our current laws, which are totally sufficient to deal with the illegal immigration problem. There is no need to pass more meaningless legislation. Who knows if that would even do anything. The fence legislation has failed to build a fence. It is a pity when the people of a nation can not even trust their own government to do what they said they were going to do.

We have to wait for a new president. Bush is incapable of fixing this problem. We can not deport and enforce the laws with Bush. If we can get someone like Fred Thompson in the White House, then, hopefully we will enforce the laws. It is just that the government we have now is too irresponsible and deceiving to do anything.

It doesn't HAVE to wait. Our leaders in Congress can write another bill, mandating the securing of the borders. Then they can Mandate enforcing our immigration laws. They can give authority to ALL law enforcement agencies to enforce the law. Identify and arrest illegals in our country NOW !!!!
Our leaders won't enforce the law, because they are weak and are worried about pissing off some bleeding heart, instead of doing the right thing. Despite the defeat of this bill, many of these so called leaders in DC, need to sent packing. OH, and Mr. Martinez refuses to let this thing die. Watch him, he is going to try to bring back the parts of this bill, that most Americans do not like !!!!

Do more than deport! Enforcement is the key. However, just deporting is not adequate. The law now provides for imprisonment for up to 6 months on the first offense. That should be the standard. It will cost money but it will cost more money if we do not. Time to build prisons and camps. When we start enforcing many will "deport" themselves.

Employers get up to 10 years for employing illegals. Give it to them.

Fences are necessary because they show the line not to be crossed. People say that it's too much fence but we built fences on both sides of how many miles of interstate to save wildlife? The real teeth would be in electronic detection and quick response teams ( SWAT like). That will take money . If we are willing to spend it to save deer, we should do it to save our country.

Fortifications are useless. Historically, it has been proven time and time again. Walls and fortifications require too much in resources that are better applied to fast moving mobile forces. Walls and fortifications are only practical where population centers meet on the border. Such walls and fortifications must be manned.

Keep the pressure on the government and demand that the law be enforced. Pain caused is the guilt of those that chose not to comply with the law. There is no guilt for those that demand enforcement or enforce. No one has the right to ignore the law and choose not to enforce it . If they disagree due process can change it.

Taxes should be spent on the country and it’s people not on foreigners. If foreigners do not like their condition, they should fix their own country.

Those who come in legally should be welcomed with open arms and we should be glad to receive people who will comply with the rule of law. If they need help, they should receive it. They are our invited guests.

Frankly, we've been waiting too damn long. Enough is enough. In 1986 they said no more illegals. After 9-11 they really began to promise to secure the border.
Our patience is at an end and we must continue to pressure the government to enforce the laws.
We will not go quietly into the night.

The politicians are making it very clear: Amnesty is the only solution they will consider to the illegal immigration problem they have created by refusing to enforce our laws. They said it repeatedly, "it's this bill or nothing."

No “new” laws are necessary. Make our "Old" Laws Enforceable!

It would cost much less to enable our law enforcement personnel to uphold our "old laws", than pretend to enact new ones.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but it IS unlawful to employ any person un-eligible to work in the United States, in any state of the Union.

Hire an illegal, Go To Jail. <--- Note the period.

We have to wait because the current administration doesn't want to enforce the existing laws.

I think what they mean is that 'immigration reform', more accurately known as amnesty, will have to wait. We can still demand enforcement of our laws.
