My dogs prefer raw but they will eat both. Raw is better.
ETA: For those of you saying raw is bad please do some research before you spout off your opinions. I can not believe that after all the dog food recalls no one bothers to research the facts.

I'll go with cooked because I don't think they are comfortable with the texture of the raw meat. I'm talking about smaller breeds. The big dogs don't care either way. They inhale the cooked meat. Raw meat on the bone takes a little more effort.

It varies from dog to dog, but raw meat is ok to give. I know people are saying it's bad and can be harmful, but it's not that bad. There are many people who feed raw meat. Whoever is saying that raw is really bad should do some research on raw diets.

dogs are basically just like wolves but domesticated, i think they would prefer uncooked meat, all natural with no hormones just like in the wild. if you could afford it and you want the best for you dog deer meat is so good for your dog and people because they are all natural and aren't farm raised. i give my husky fresh salmon from the river and he digs it, probably cause of the om mega 3's or fish fat. its so good for you and your dog. but kinda a time killer fishing and
buying special meat but i love my dogs and that's what i feed them and they look very healthy.
plus dogs aren't like humans in the wild when they kill an animal the pack leader gets to eat the liver and the heart first, to them that's the best part of their kill. people these days think just because it smells good to you doesn't mean its best for your dog because remember fellas dogs aren't humans they are dogs very different compared to us. back in the day before they created dog food people just use to give their dogs table scraps then the food industry found out that money could be made by making dog food and now its a multibillion dollar industry. dogs love all natural so if you want the best give them raw meat for a couple of weeks then try feeding them cook. then give them a choice and see what they would prefer i bet they'll take the raw meat over the cooked.

I'd Say Cooked, because thats when more of the vitamins start to form.
Plus, raw, there is a risk of disease just as there is for humans.
By The way, I wouldn't reccomend feeding your dog a whole cooked steak or any type of whole cooked meat.
Maybe little small scraps of it..

Well, i am not to sure because my dog doesn't tell me...but i think they like them both the same, I think that it would be safer to give them cooked meat...but saying that wild dogs eat raw meat. I give my dog those 'sandwich' slices in packets from supermarkets, they come in turkey, chicken, ham etc. and my dog loves them and it doesn't make him ill. But if you were thinking of like bacon I would cook it first.

Dogs perfer the cooked meat because it smells better and gives a extra juicy taste to it raw meat can be very bad for the dogs digestic system witch means he will puke (vomit).
