I have long straight light brown hair that goes to the middle of my back, or maybe a bit above it. I have a side part and my hair is sometimes a bit wavy at the ends.

Sounds nice already... You could cut it in layers or get a good trim and change the part to the other side or middle. If you really wanted to be daring.. donate your hair to cancer society - go for a short look. Good Luck.

Use a cute clip to keep the hair back on the side that has more hair when it's parted. Or do a half pony.

Sounds like you have hair you could do anything with, how lucky! If I were you I'd get a light layer through it with a sweeping fringe and a few lighter highlights for the sun kissed look!

If you want it short get Katie Holmes new style. Looks great! Or get Cameron Diaz's in The Holiday. I did and I love it.

If you want to keep it long I suggest layers and sideswept bangs. Or if you want some volume get some layers in the back and use Pantene Pro-V texturize. Also get about upper lip length bangs. Have fun!

omg my hair is just like yours. here is what i do

1.seporate my hair into pigtales, then braid it a little less then half way.( don't do pigtales far out like by ears )

http://www.seventeen.com has hairstyles so does www.alloy.com

also layers and side sweot bangs are in.

if your bangs dont stay then use a light spray or hairspraiy or
put moose into your brush and comb it to the side.

i could go on for pages with hairstyles but it depends on your face shape.

go with a layered look [that style has been hot forever, and isn't going out of style anytime soon.] layers are easy to work with, your hair won't dry out as quickly, and it looks great straight or wavy.

ask your stylist for a layering about two inches below your shoulders, or shorter. you might consider lowlights in your light hair, like auburn or mahogany streaks.

best of luck =]

it really depends on ur face shape.once u find that out, mostly any hair style that belongs on ur particular face shape would work.
tho some people dont have a particular face shape, like me. i cant decide if im round or square but anyway there are four kinds of face shapes:

oval- ur face is long with a high forehead and narrow chin.which i would do long layers for and have layers at ur cheeks. also i would part ur hair kinda to the side. but figure out if to the left or right would look better for u (like i side part mine to the right.)

heart- ur forehead is wider than ur jaw, and ur chin is narrow.try side bangs with long layers. have ur hair past ur chin.

round-ur face is widest at ur cheeks, and ur chin is round. i would do long length with side swept and shorter layers on top.

square- ur forehead and jaw are about the same width. this face shape u should have long hair with chin length layers. have ur haircut rounded and blended.

so have fun!its summer so be bold! good luck!

I think layers. They are fun and you can always play them up. You probably want to cut about an inch and a half off the ends. That would be cute:]]
Depends on age to, what would look good.

IF YOU WANT WAVY:

get any kind of moose an take a shower.
make your hair damp.
rub the moose through your hair and kind of "crunch it up" a couple times thats what i do every day and i've got like the same hair.

if i didn't explain it well search for "hair crunching help"
