If you're looking for Dillman-esque pressure point knockouts you may as well be looking for The Force.

If you are attacked RUN. Run to where there are people, call 911.
If you are unable to run and fear for your safety, the degree you fear for your saftey and the degree to which the threat is imminent and the degree to which the harm may cause you, will determine your response. Actions other wise could result in a prison term for you! Real life self-defense is not a movie, not a reality TV show or a class in MA. You will be held to a resonable force standard given the situation, your part in it, your attemptes to escape, and if death is involved, specific steps you took regarding your conduct that must include ceratin actions to prevent the death, including retreating as far as possible. If you have training in MA that could be used against you.
you must also take into account the fear that will be imparted in this situation, as it may cause all fine motor skills to evaporate leaving only gross motor skills and crude thinking, even to the point where you crap your pants.
If your training has not prepared your for any of this with mental awareness, STS, survival skills, as I presume it does/has not, then you are in the same boat as the rest of the people that answered your question.
Your ONLY chance is to escape at all costs by fleeing. should this fail, due to your lack of real self-defense training, your only chance is with gile. Are you a good bullshitter?

if ur attacked and u can see that the attacker is going to do it e.g. attacking from behind i wouldnt focus on pressure points do whatever works like kick in the nuts always works a treat
if you can see some1 in front of you is going to attack you u could strike pressure points(PP) but i wouldnt focus only hitting PP as u should just hit him and hit him hard then when you see the opening go for the PP.
could it kill them, depends were and how hard u hit really
solaplex strike wouldnt kill them but accouring to fight science it could but thats a perfect strike and if you are being attacked you wouldnt get a perfect strike in so no in the situation u wouldnt kill them

Pressure points require, training, timing, focus, and perfect execution- all things not likely to present in a real attack. Not to mention that pressure points don't work on everybody. More than likely, instead of killing them, you'll just end up pissing them off.
This is why martial arts with "dead" training always catch FLAk- their techniques may sound good in theory, but simply won't work in a real situation. This is also why small-circle joint-manipulations are criticized.
Advice: Stick to big targets, big circles, and personally perfected and proven techniques.

fact is getting off a good nerve shot in an attack will harm but not disable the attacker all the time. There is no way to strike them all and then the damage would consist of the striking position ( angle ) pressure and the opponents responsiveness to this stimuli. Any blow has the potential to kill.

First of all in that type of situation there is know fair fighting. Thumb strikes and hyu fists are great ways to attack a pressure point. if your interested try studying ninjutsu it's built on the body's vulnerable points

well just hitting their pressure points might or might not do anything...usually you have to apply pressure...like pressing your thumb or elbow or something into it. However...if you are being attacked...don't worry about whether or not you are going to kill them...defend yourself until you can get away...and if they get killed in the process...well they shouldn't have messed with you in the first place!!!

If you are being attacked, do anything you can to get away. For a guy...kick him where it hurts the most. Try to knock them un-contious then run to the nearest house and call 911. I guess it could kill them, but probly not for just pressing on them for a while.

The answer is YES! But only if you use a hollow point .357 magnum round to hit their pressure points. Otherwise, it'll take forever for them to die.
