It depends on many factors. Obviously if one has never drank before than their tolerance is low so it would require less alcohol to feel the effects. But, it also depends on body weight, gender, and prior food consumption. So for example if you are a 100 pound female with an empty stomach and no prior drinking experience than you could absolutely feel the effects of a few sips of wine. These effects would probably not be long lasting though on such a small amount of alcohol.

It all depends on your body make-up , Two sips probably would not do any thing ,taking into account your sips were 1/2 ounce each and you weigh 140 pounds your blood alcohol level for a white table wine would be below .01 and should not show much effect ,being that a five ounce glass of table wine would bring your level to about.03 . If there is an effect drinking one ounce of table wine, I believe it is possibly mental.

A company ran a study on teens and alcohol. They gave a few teens vodka, and a few a water solution(mock vodka). They told all of the subjects that they were drinking vodka. After 1 hour of observation, they noticed that the subjects that drank the water were acting just as drunk as the ones who did drink the vodka. So I think a "slight buzz" is possible due to the fact that it may have been psycological.

Possibly, but unlikely.
Two regular sips in an average sized adult who's eaten something in the last three hours probably won't do much. But, two large gulps in someone who's VERY thin and on an empty stomach would feel it faster.

Ha ha ha, my friend was in the same situation. She said she felt weird and thought she was buzzed.
I think she was just playing around or over exaggerating.
