like sh*t when you adore them and care for them.I like this girl and told her everything but she just treats me like dirt.I'm really upset now.Is it wrong for a guy to be nice & caring to a girl?

You're not alpha male, matey, you're not big strong silent type who rides a big bike. Lots and lots of women over 30 would love you, but when they are younger, they want something untamed, a bit wild. someone that will excite them and get their pulse racing. You being solid dependable, sweet and caring, is just a total snooze fest, you're drip, you're in touch with your feminine side etc.. They want the alpha male who wins fights and bangs his chest, they don't want the sensitive one who is picking fleas off someone in the corner.

Hi Mate. Sorry to hear about this.Well, it's not WRONG to be nice and caring to a girl - and many girls say they're looking for someone to treat them well. But the truth is, when someone comes along who DOES treat them well they just rip the piss out of that guy. The problem is that many girls just don't know what they want. In my long experience it only pays to be a bastard to a girl. They'll complain and say they wish you'd be nicer, but if you are they'll never appreciate it. Its a hard truth of life.
Now we'll get all the ladies comin on saying how wrong I am - but that just proves my point. They say one thing, but mean another.

You know girls have the same issue too. Perhaps you need to get to know her better before you pour on the charm. I believe you are the giving type; when you like someone immensely you want to shower them with affection and perhaps gifts. However, it is safer to be a little more reserved with your feeling and affection until you see that they are recipricating these feelings and actions toward you. From my experience when you shower someone with affection and they do nothing. They're not that interested in you. So cheer up and look for a girl that will respond to you in a more loving way.

haha. I'm actually in the same situation but with a guy. Don't take it as something that you do. Ask her if there is anything that you are doing that she may not like. It's her though. If I ever did that, and I wouldn't, it would be because I think that I'm better then the person. I don't know. Just try and stay positive. And let her know how you feel.

No Its not wrong,its the way you feel about someone.
I think if the girl treats you like s##t then lose her,she,s not worth it in the Long run.
She doesnt have respect for you ,so what chance have you got later on if it gets serious.
Think about it ,and about her attitudes.
Be yourself,thats how you find out how other people relate to you.

If she treats you that bad shes not worth it. She may be just confused but you still can't sit by and let her treat you like that. Its definitly not wrong. Find someone better! she obviously doesnt know a good thing when she sees it. Nice guys can be hard to find

Hi there matey, don't despair not all of us girlies are so insensitive. It sounds to me that she simply doesn't appreciate you at all. My advice would be to show her P45 and then kick her to the kerb!!!!! I'm real sure that you will find someone else who will give and not just take. As the saying goes "plenty more fish in the sea". Please don't tar us all with the same horrid brush. By the way, your girlfriend sounds like "CHARLEY" from BB!!!
Show her the door and be kind to yourself, she really isn't worth it sweetie.

Oh heavens no. It's wonderful if a guy is nice and caring. That girl is just a jerk. From what you say, you're too good for her. =) Some girls are just like that, but a lot aren't.

It happens for both men and women, we just seem to be attracted to the ones that treat us bad, maybe we like the challenge. Cos the nice ones are too nice.
