Within it's framework, are the clear explanations for everything important to our survival.

Unique..
Forty different authors writing over a period of 1,600 years penned the 66 books of the Bible.
Four hundred silent years separated the 39 books of the Old Testament from the 27 of the New Testament.
Yet, from Genesis to Revelation, they tell one unfolding story. Together they give consistent answers to the most important questions we can ask: Why are we here? How can we come to terms with our fears? How can we get along? How can we rise above our circumstances and keep hope alive? How can we make peace with our Maker? The Bible's consistent answers to these questions show that the Scriptures are not many books but one.
So hated.
Because some Rather be their own Gods, or word hip another god. The God of the Bible says, He's the ONLY God.
That makes people upset.
Persecuted..
Those who believe in the Bible are the ones that are persecuted. Why? Because we say out way is the only way.
Basically , repeating what the Bible says.

Because its the word of God, and most people have rebelled against Him.
Look at the french Revelation, during this time the French did away with God and instituted the Goddess of reason. They burnt all the bibles and rejected its tenets.
But after 3 1/2 years they realized the folly of this act and brought back the Bible and the worship of the God of the Bible.
It was even prophesied That Gods two witnesses (the old and new testaments) would lie dead in the streets for 3 1/2 days (prophetic years) but afterward they would be raised up, and they were.
So its nothing new.

Unique? It is a copy almost verbatim of other religious ideas. Hated because it spreads hate. It can't be persecuted because it is a book not a person.

Its not unique in any way. Pretty much everything in it already existed in other, much older, religions.
Its not the bible thats hated, its the behavior of the followers. the bible is just a book.

The Bible is a collection of myths with little truth to it that people kill others over. That is why it is persecuted. It is the same reason every other religion is persecuted.

It's hardly unique; a lot of its stories are obvious rehashes of local mythology.
It's impossible to persecute an inanimate object.
As for why it's hated -- have you READ it?

It is hardly unique. It is not even persecuted, but rather its misuse by Christians (primarily fundamentalists) turns the Bible into a weapon of hatred and oppression.

The bible is sold freely in 99% of the world and has to be the, or one of the, most common collections of documents.

Often when one sees an obstacle that they believe is too big and strong they feel the need to find any weaknesses within that they could exploit and when there isn't any, or enough, to disprove it that makes these individuals more determined to continue trying.

the bible isnt all that unique, in fact i would think its a long shot to say it is.
^ lol answer above me.
and heck i certainly would dislike a book that said things like this:
If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her -Deuteronomy 22:28-29
